Expertise within the Green Roof Consultancy

Individual consultants within the GRC are internationally recognised for their work in the field of green roofs and specifically in terms of developing systems utilising a local ecological/ landscape approach.

Collectively on behalf of CIRIA, GRC are currently developing the first independent green roof design guidance 'Building Greener - guidance on the integration of biodiversity and rainfall features in buildings'.

During 2005 GRC was involved in partnership with Livingroofs.org in delivering a number of green roof projects to various clients and organisations.

In 2006 GRC are already working on several UK green roof projects as well as advising local authorities and other stakeholders on the implementation of green roofs.
